The combination of nutritious oats, warming cinnamon, maple and vanilla creates a nourishing dish that fills the house with a soul warming smell that makes such a lovely way to wake up.

Prepare to share with the family or keep in the fridge for weekday breakfasts.
Preheat oven to 180°c
Mix together in a baking tray:
2 cups rolled oats
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 cups milk of choice
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup raw almonds
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
2 fresh plums
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
Top with 4 fresh figs
Bake for 20-30 minutes or until liquid has soaked up and fruit is soft
