[easy flatbreads] If you didn’t order or receive one of our bundles this week and therefore don’t have your hands on one of the delicious sourdough loaves that is included, have a go at making these super simple flatbreads instead! We covered ours with roast pumpkin and homemade pesto - YUM Makes 4 large flatbreads - no kneading required! INGREDIENTS 1 cup organic plain flour 1 cup organic wholemeal (spelt) flour 200ml warm water 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 2 teaspoons instant yeast METHOD - add yeast to water and let foam (3-5 minutes is enough) - combine all other ingredients in a large bowl - add wet mix to dry mix - combine as much as possible with a spoon then gently use hands to bring it all together into a smooth ball - leave in a warm place covered with a damp tea towel for at least half an hour to an hour, it should double in size - cut dough into 4 pieces - lightly dust surface with flour and roll into flat breads - bake at 180°C for approx 12 minutes or until slightly golden - top with all your favourites!
