We have a post here with our thoughts on 'lactation cookies' and whether they actually work.
Our Oat Choc Chip Cookies
Some may say these really are the star of the show, with so many nutritionally beneficial ingredients.
 
Rolled Oats - rich in fibre to support digestion and balance blood glucose, a high protein grain, rich in many minerals such as iron, magnesium and zinc.
Wholemeal Spelt Flour - an “ancient grain” known to be gentler on digestion for many, provides a rich wholesome flavour and more fibre!
Ceylon Cinnamon - known for its blood glucose regulating properties and rich antioxidant content.
Ground Flaxseeds - a plantbased source of omega-3, fibre, protein, antioxidants and anti-carcinogenic properties.
Tahini - source of monounsaturated fats which are associated with cardiovascular health and reduced inflammation, hormone regulation and satiety, also rich in minerals including calcium. 
Nutritional Yeast - rich in B vitamins, protein and provides that slight savoury flavour to our cookies that makes them very moreish!
Dark Chocolate Chips - for a bitter-sweet antioxidant rich treat.
Pure Maple Syrup - added sparingly to deliver that delicious sweetness.
Vanilla Extract, Salt + Baking Powder. That's it.
