The importance of including green leafy vegetables into your diet very day.

Prioritising nourishment is one of the highest forms of self care. We are highlighting for you some of our favourite health promoting and healing ingredients used in our Whole Bowl menu.

Leafy Greens - Why do we love them?

Leafy greens are absolutely a super food in our books! They include kale, spinach, cabbage, broccoli, lettuce, chard, bok choy, fresh leafy herbs and many more.

The regular consumption of leafy greens is associated with multiple health benefits including weight management, gut health, heart health, reproductive health and mental health.

Leafy greens are low in energy (kJ/calories) and rich in fibre, they are nutrient dense packed with antioxidants, vitamins such as vitamins A, C, E, K, and B9 (folate), as well as minerals such as iron, calcium and magnesium.

We use organic produce wherever possible to limit and prevent pesticide exposure.

How to add more leafy greens to your diet at home? Try green smoothies or pancakes, baked kale chips, sautéed greens with garlic and mushrooms for your breakfast, shredded through soups, stir fries and steamed along side any meal with a squeeze of lemon!
