Support at Home & NDIS Meals
Support at Home & NDIS meal delivery
Nourishing, ready-to-heat meals delivered to your door across Australia. If your NDIS plan or your Support at Home funding includes help with meals, you can order from us like any other customer and claim the preparation and delivery portion back through your plan manager or provider.
No lock-in, no subscription required, and no complicated paperwork - you order, we deliver, and you receive an itemised invoice you can use to claim.
Can I use my funding here?
NDIS. If you're self-managed or plan-managed and your plan includes funding for meal preparation and delivery, you're welcome to order from us. (Agency/NDIA-managed participants need a registered provider - that isn't us, so this path is for self- and plan-managed participants.)
Support at Home. If your Support at Home budget includes meal support, you can order from us and claim through your provider. Support at Home replaced Home Care Packages in November 2025 - if you were previously on an HCP, your funding has carried across.
If you're not sure whether meals are included in your plan, your plan manager, support coordinator or provider can confirm in a moment.
What your funding covers
Both schemes work the same way for meals: they help with the preparation and delivery of your meal - not the cost of the food itself. The food and ingredients are always something you pay for, just as you would at the supermarket.
To make this easy, every order comes with an itemised invoice that separates the two:
- Preparation & delivery (~70%) - the portion you may be able to claim through your funding
- Food & ingredients (~30%) - your own contribution
How much you actually get back depends on your individual plan and provider, so please check with them before you order. We're here to make the invoice simple - they confirm what's claimable for you.
How it works
1. Order and pay as normal. Choose your meals and check out just like any other customer, paying in full at checkout.
2. Download your itemised invoice. Straight after you order, your Support at Home / NDIS split invoice is available to download from your order confirmation page (and any time later from your account). A standard receipt is also emailed to you.
3. Claim it back. Send the itemised invoice to your plan manager or provider to claim the preparation and delivery portion. They handle the reimbursement from your funding.
Good to know
We're not a registered NDIS or Support at Home provider. We're a meal service you order from directly, and you (or your plan manager or provider) claim the eligible portion back. We can't bill your plan or your provider directly, and we can't guarantee what your plan will reimburse - that's always confirmed by your provider.
Ordering for someone else? Many of our funded orders are placed by a partner, an adult child, or a carer on behalf of the person receiving care. That's completely fine - just use the delivery address and details of the person the meals are for.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be a registered participant to order? No. Anyone can order our meals. Using your funding to claim part of the cost back is the only part that depends on your plan - and that's available to self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, and Support at Home participants, where meals are included in the plan.
Why isn't the cost of the food covered? Both NDIS and Support at Home fund the service around your meal - its preparation and delivery - not the food itself. Groceries and ingredients are treated as an everyday cost you'd have regardless. That's why our invoice separates the two.
How much will I get back? It depends on your individual plan, your funding and your provider's rules. We show the preparation-and-delivery portion clearly on your invoice; your provider confirms and processes what's claimable for you.
I was on a Home Care Package - does this still work? Yes. Home Care Packages became Support at Home in November 2025 and existing funding carried across. The meal support works the same way.
The Whole Bowl Co. is not a registered NDIS or Support at Home provider. Meals are purchased directly and paid in full at checkout; eligible customers may seek reimbursement of the preparation and delivery portion through their plan manager or provider. Reimbursement is determined by your plan and provider, not by The Whole Bowl Co. Please confirm your eligibility with your provider before ordering. Prices shown include GST where applicable.
